Stocks trade at 3 a.m. here. That is the whole reason.
Stocks now trade on-chain around the clock, with a price in a Uniswap pool at every block and millions of retail prediction users one tap away. That is the setup this team spent five years waiting for.
The asset we always wanted finally has a price at 3 a.m.
Everything this team built since 2021 priced crypto, because crypto was the only thing that never closed. A 60-second round needs a reference price that exists every minute of every day, and equities never gave us that: the market closed at 4 p.m. and the machine had nothing to price for sixteen hours and the whole weekend. On July 1, 2026 Robinhood Chain went live with tokenized stocks and ETFs, NVDA, TSLA, SPY, GLD, MSTR, COIN, PLTR, QQQ and more, trading as plain ERC-20s 24/7, with Chainlink feeds and Uniswap pools from block one. The Uniswap pool for a stock has a price at every block, and that is what ROUNDS settles on. "Will NVDA be higher in 60 seconds" at 3 a.m. on a Sunday is a market that can exist here and nowhere else.
The users are already here, and they already bet on the short end.
In Q2 2026 Robinhood processed 13.6 billion event contracts, up 55% on the quarter. Event-contract revenue reached $156 million, more than it earned from equities or from crypto, and nearly two million customers have traded one. Those contracts stop at the hour-and-day horizon a regulated order book can support. Nobody offers the one-minute layer on that stack, because order-book liquidity structurally fails there. Pooled bets are the only structure that survives, and this team has run them since 2021.
The chain fits the round.
100-millisecond blocks: a 60-second round is roughly 600 blocks. Open, bet, lock, close, settle, collect, with margin. Settlement rolls up to Ethereum. Speed was never the problem elsewhere; what was missing was a deep on-chain price for a stock and a native settlement asset. Here both exist at launch: Uniswap pools for the six launch stocks in USDG, deep enough that a 30-second average is a price nobody can push for the size of a bet. And a parimutuel pool is the house-neutral structure: the protocol takes a fee and never the other side of a bet. On a chain whose sponsor is a regulated broker and whose assets are securities-backed tokens, the design with no house exposure and no hidden book is the one that belongs.
Revenue can be paid in stock.
The launch primitive here lets a token trade, pay fees and graduate quoted in SPY, and route its creator fees to holders in SPY, automatically. This team has said "revenue index" for years. Here it is literal: $ROUNDS holders are paid in SPY, and they sign nothing.
The rule.
Not affiliated with Robinhood. Robinhood Chain is a public network built by Robinhood; ROUNDS is an independent protocol on it.
From the team behind Hxro and OddsFi. Those products continue to run.
